SICAM 1703 Version Compatible In Use ????

Hi guys,

I have some questions over SICAM 1703 version and ofcourse I hope there's someone could give me a hand about this:
- I have got PE-6400, CM-0843, DI-6102, DO-6200, AI-6300 modules which was used for TM 1703 ACP (CPU 6003) version (they're both in Red color which is old version).
- I want to buy CPU CP-6014, another PE-6410, DI-6102, DO-6200, in newest version (they're both in Gray color which is new version) and use them with the existing module which I have got.
Because I have no experience with SICAM 1703 in such situation, I still aware about the compatible of SIEMENS product when used as my case. So I hope you guys can clear this question, and I can start to make the order to manufacturer for my project.

Hi Lam Pham,

if you compare MLFB of red and grey modules you will
see that there is only difference in last part.
That defines it is it red or grey. It is not possible
to order red ones anymore.

I have equipped TM 1703 ACP CP-6014
with SM-2541 which is old Protocol element and it
worked fine.

Also if you check old SAT manual you will se that Type Designation
is the same for both grey and red modules.

I the period from changing from red to grey they didn't release new order table
and I used to order the red ones but got grey ones and I was told only difference is color.

I am 100% sure that the red ones are the same as grey ones.

I see that you have PE-6400 and now they sell PE-6410 but in
ToolBOX II you will just use different firmware for PE 640x USIO65 and for PE_641x_USIO66.

When SIEMENS bought SAT all manual remained the same they just put SIEMENS logo.

Because I dont' have the grey CPU and only have red I/O Module, I can't test it but as you comment, in theory and experiment have been make by you, I can finally sending the order list to SIEMENS.
