Replacing the CPU IM151-8 PN / DP for the IM151-8F PN / DP CPU (FAIL SAFE)

But unfortunately I have about 192 KB of memory which is gently enough. And here my question: Can be used in place of the IM151-8F PN / DP CPU (FAIL SAFE) (6ES7-151-8FB01-0AB0)? I will not use any features fail-safe, I mean just more memory. Nothing more. industrial automation specialist

If you leave the default settings in the "protection" tab of the CPU in the HWconfig, the CPU will work in standard mode. Best regards jklm Suggestion was helpful? Thanks to rate it.
