hi,,
I want to know about the model number, how to make, how to be formated.

For example, 6ES7 414-2XG00-0AB0, what means 6E, what means S7, what means 2XG, what means 00, what means 0A, what means B0.

So, call for the model numbering system to us....

best regard.

Hi,

somebody explained me one time but I forget.

The only thing I remember is that "6ES" is a product developed from A&D, while a "6GK" is a product developed for A&D. Most SIMATIC NET stuff is with second number.

The number "5" stands for SIMATIC S5 and "7" for SIMATIC S7 product.

I am sure somebody here can explain you the whole numbering system.

Regards.

T      ---> T= DRIVE-CLIQ interface (without cu320)

             G= G150,G130 General Purpose Vector

             L = S120,S150 High Performance

E       ---> line E = 380V......480V

                     F = 500V.......600V

                     G = 660V.......690V

36-1    --->  Output Current

                  3 = factor 100

                 100*6.1  = 610 A

It's not correct.
'6ES' means SIMATIC S5, S7, M7, SC automation systems or SIMATIC P, M, S3 control systems
'6GK' means SIMATIC NET products.
It was designated long, long time ago (and before A&D establishing).

I can explain first number:
1 - Electrical machines (Different motors)
2 - Non-electrical machines (pumps, compressors, some things for heating and ventilation. I have 2NC convector heater by Glen Dimplex (ex-Siemens unit) at my home:)).
3 - Medium- and low-voltage equipment like SIRIUS.
4 - Transformers
5 - Electroinstallation technics (like 5SY, 5SL, 5TT)
6 - Control and converter systems (SIMATIC, SINAMICS, SINUMERIK, SIMOTION, etc.)
7 - Measurement and protection devices (SITRANS, SIWAREX, SIPROTEC)
8 - Distribution boards (SIVACON)
9 - Special products.
