Hello,

You can only increase or reduce the display contrast at STN displays.

increase the display contrast > "arrow to right" plus "A-Z"
reduce the display contrast > "arrow to left" plus "A-Z"

Hello,
first thanks for info reply! I tried with A-Z + right arrow and A-Z and left arrow, but the contrast stays the same! When I turn on the machine the simatic starts and when it loads the sistem it asks: " to incrase contrast pres"right arrow", do decrase contrast press "left arrow". But by presing arrows nothing happens!

Hi,
yes the display is TFT and the contrast can't be changed by pushing A-Z  with arrow left or right key!

So what can I do in that case is there anything else left to me, can I replace the TFT or must I buy the new OP37?

The thing is that machine works fine, only you can hardly see the parameters which are displeyed on the OP37 and it is wery hard to change them because you can't realy see what you are writting on the panel!!!

Regards,

Grega

Hello,

Unfortunately you should buy a new panel. The probelm is that there the backup light is burned. blushIf you find a way to change it...

Best regards,
