Look at the manual, chapter 4.3.1, where you will find the overview of 3-type data transfer, and use the third (data sets/blocks).

You may use "Communications utility, trace" (function block TRCC) or "Pointer-based communications" (function block DB_P). You read about this in the manual SIMATIC D7-SYS Selecting Function blocks (chapters 1.4.4 and 1.4.8).
