Hi All
We have a customer with a CPU416-3 (6es7 416-3xl04) and Sinuat equipment (TIM 4V) going out to 5 off S7 315-2af03's with TIM 3V modules.
He is looking to upgrade to Win7 but we believe that the current Sinuat is not Win7 compatable.
When will Sinuat be Win7 compatable and will the new software still support this older Sinuat equipment/installation?
Thanks in advance.
Philip

Have a look at http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/53469510

SINAUT ES V5.2 has been released for STEP 7 V5.5 incl. SP1 and supports the following operating systems:

  • MS Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate (32-bit)
  • MS Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate (64-bit)
  • MS Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition (64-bit)
  • MS Windows XP SP3
  • MS Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2
This will also support older modules including the TIM xV  you mentioned.

Greetings
