Inactive License in ALM

(0)  Hi, Got a new PC and downgraded it to WinXP.eg PCS7 V7.1 was installed and all the licenses were transfered to the new PC ( License tranferred to D Drive Partition ). Due to some problem, I had to remove XP and install Win7 on the same laptop. At this point, I just cut-pasted the AXNFZZ file from PC(D Drive partition) to pen drive. When the license was moved from pen drive to a different machine via ALM, I get meesage "License Inactive". This is happening to all the licenses on the pendrive ( i.e all the licenses in cut-pasted AXNFZZ file). Please help me how to make these licenses active. Regards Nil.

Try to cut-paste on previous location and then check  if it's working. If it does - move them via ALM. If not - contact Siemens support. Anyway I shall try to install ALM on Win7 and then will cut paste the AXNFZZ. later I shall try to move the same thru ALM installed on Win7. Shall get back to u with the results. Regards Nil
