Hi all,
Have You guys been using the S5 eeprom memory card adapter? I have problem in connecting the card to the programmer.I put the adapter into the slot. Than I connect an S5 eeprom to it. But got no results. It's written on a leaflet I should have some dots shown on the adapter and the device, but there are no bulbs no my adapter. I downloaded the manual for field PG M3 and there is a description for the status display lights that I should have a green light if i insert the memory card module reader and while it is active(if i understand it correct:). But i had no green light indicated for that. I also tried to use the S5 eeprom software that had been already installed but I had error 900 which i think says i have the memory card not inserted into my field PG. I also have no info in my device manager while inserting the card that it had recognized a new device. Do any of You guys know what can I be doing wrong. I have actualy no expierience with S5. So I'm quite yellow to it:)
Thank in advice for any reply

Greets to all.

Hello,

please check your bios settings, wheather you have enable the parameter: PCI-MPI/DP. You will find this setting in the bios setup under: Advanced > Peripheral Configuration.
You have to enable this setting.

Have a nice day

Interesting thing...
I found from the Tech Support hotline that only certain M3 Field PGs have the S5 hardware built into them.  Even though mine came to me with the S5 software installed, the PG does not have the S5 hardware installed in it so I cannot read or write EEPROMS nor can I go online with a CPU.

sad

Yes, it is mentioned in manual too. And interesting thing is no S5 hardware but bought S5 software.

Best regards,
