Hi Experts

I am trying to work with PLCSim. When I download the program file and monitor the program in ladder I can not see any change in I/O according to my program. If I observe the I/O in Variable table there I am able to see the current status of I/O and variables. Same thing is happening when I use SCL monitor facility.
Is there anyone with helpful suggestions.

Thanks

Hello,

Please give us the version off Step 7, PLC sim and your OS.
If possible attach a screenshot with the problem, that often sais more than a 1000 words.

It depends also on your previous knowledge of Simatic system, in my opinion if you were able to download program to plcsim and put it in run-p mode then plcsim behaves like real plc, except some special functions like communications func. are not supported in plcsim.
If you can't monitor, possible cause is that statements are not executed because of the conditions of your program, keep in mind that monitoring shows only statements that have condition (RLO=1), if you put a if..then.. statement for example and condition is null, then you will able to see only that, the remaining part will not give any monitoring result as is not executing.

My OS is WinXP.
STEP 7 V5.5+SP1
PLCSim V5.4+SP5
The integration of installed softwares is perfectly fine since I been running some other simulations.
Please find the attached pic.
Might it help to proceed further.

Do you mind just do a small test...Set the Memory Clock in the Hard.Config and download in the PLCSim, afterwards check in a VAT if the memory bits are periodically changing

Thank you for the suggestions.
I did try but there was no change. In the attached picture you can see when I set input high from PLCSim it is not visualized high in ladder.
Do you have any more suggestion? Please feel free for any testing.

Regards

Marciano wanted to see if PLCSIM works without your program, its not a trick to make things working. Choose that clock byte and put it in VAT to see if its changing, it should work also without program loaded, so we can exclude wrong behaviour of PLCSIM, next step is your program.
