Dear all
One of my client facing a problem in CIP process as follows:
1.CIP program is running on S7 300 CPU 314.
2.There are two CIP lines in the process.
2.When it is working fine: CIP starts automatically starts for both line i.e.,when one finishes other starts automatically.
3.Curent behavior: when CIP of one line finishes the other has to be started manually through panel.

note that the problem starts after new touch panel is replaced by previous one since the old one is damaged or not working.

Also we dont have original back up program, what I have is the only one I uploaded from CPU so dont have any documents or comments.

So please help or guide me how to approach or what strategy i should apply to solve this problem.

please help ASAP...
Thanks
Rahil

Its really hard to say anything without initial info. Behavior of system is clearly not enough to make some recommendations.

I have only 1 thought - if you are sure, that this defect is caused by OP change, then can try to make following: take binary OP image from one panel and download it to another. This will work ONLY if 1st panel is operative (maybe there's just screen broke or something similar) and ONLY is replacing panel is exactly the same.

Problem not from Touch panel( i think so). Because Touch panel just is HMI, all program, tag, variable in CPU S7-300. Problem from 2 way:
 - From Progarm in CPU
 - Signal from actutor and sensor in field

A panel could also have a recipe? Maybe the old panel had parameters stored in recipes and then transfered it in some datablock in plc.

Dear Rahil,

If your observation is correct that this behaviour started with the replacement of the OP. I suggest you confirm with the operators / production guys all parameters/values in the OP. It might be that some inputs are missing causing the functionality to change.

Hi Rahil,

If you're triggering the command through the OP and it's working, seems like automatic changes are not happening.

So I'm thinking in 2 possibilities:

1st: There's a button that's used to enable the automatic mode.Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_

2nd: Check the electrical wiring, because sometimes we don't see a new problem only because we're focused to a old one.astonished

I hope it helps somehow.
