Hello Everyone

We are using PCS7 V7.0 with simatic TDC.The main problem is that we cannot established the communication between WIncc and TDC. We are using TDC PMC TCP/IP V6.2 as channel driver .During Activation We get an error that V6.0 No authorization found or limited authorization expired!. but We  cannot find  missing license for any installed simatic software in the automation license manager. Can anyone tell us how to get rid of this error? please find the screenshot of the error below.

Another thing is that we have 5 CPU in a single TDC rack and a CP 51M1 for communication with Wincc in TCP/IP. and we are using IE card in wincc server for communication with the TDC rack. so what will we enter in the Device name field under PMC parameter tab found on the system paramter option of TCP/IP Unit 1?

Thank you in advance
Regards,
Aniket Das

Hello.
As I know TDC PMC driver requires authorization, but may this is not checked by ALM, if you have not installed this authorization.
Info from readme-file of TDC PMC V6.0:
"This channel-DLL is provided with a copy protection.
Therefore the software will only run if the authorization
"SIK/SIMATIC TDC PMC TCP/IP" ("A9TDCT60") or the appropriate
emergency authorization (14 days authorization; "X9TDCT60")
has been installed on the hard disk drive of the relevant PC.

You need the new file ADDONAUT.DLL for the authorization check.
The result of the authorization check is written to the file
"...\WinCC\Diagnose\TDC PMC TCP_01.LOG"."

Access to all 5 CPUs should be configured in TDC-program using WinCC-PMC function blocks.
Under Device-Name field of system parameter you should enter the name of your network card through which you want to communicate with TDC. As I know this name must be the same as configured in the Set PG/PC interface as access-point for WinCC. Look at attached screenshot from manual of PMC-driver.

In any case you may establish connection with TDC using S7-protocol suite driver, which is much easier to configure, without ADRIMP and Probi.

Thank you KSN for your reply...

Just tell me one thing do we only need the license of SIMATIC TDC PMC TCP/IP V6.2 Upgrade (MLFB:2XV9450-1WC43-0KX2) because we are using Wincc V6.2 or we also need the license of SIMATIC TDC PMC TCP/IP V 6.0:MLFB:2XV9450-1WC43-0KX0) as Simatic tdc pmc tdc/ip  V 6.2 is an upgrade of Simatic tdc pmc tdc/ip V6.0.

Hello.
If you already have license for SIMATIC TDC PMC TCP/IP V 6.0 (MLFB:2XV9450-1WC43-0KX0), then you need only an upgrade license to version 6.2 - SIMATIC TDC PMC TCP/IP V6.2 Upgrade (MLFB:2XV9450-1WC43-0KX2).
If you have not license for any version of SIMATIC TDC PMC TCP/IP, then you need a new full license for V6.2. But I don't know is there a full license for WinCC V6.2, try to ask about this license in IT4Industry.

Thank you KSN for your reply..

The problem regarding communication with Wincc was solved after installing the License of TCP PMC TCP/IP driver.
Now we are facing another problem. When we open the Status of the driver connections under the tool menu  it shows ok ,but the tags are not getting the values from CPU. Also we observed that sometimes the values in tags related to one particular CPU are obained intermittently. It seems that if we assign a common local port no in the AR parameter of FB LI block in the system charts of individual CPU which is also assign as TDC port no in wincc under the connection parameter, then the tags related to one particular CPU is being read at a time, hence sometimes we are getting values related to CPU1, sometimes related to CPU2 and so on. Hence, the Wincc is not reading the values from all the 5 CPUs simultaneously.

Thank you in advance

Hello.
There is an example project for communication TDC and WinCC. In Simatic Manager go to the menu 'File-Open', then switch to the tab 'Sample project', select project 'D7-TDC-WINCC' and look how it is configured division of WinCC connection between 2 CPU. Try to use one LI-block for all CPUs as in example, or you should use different channel names at connectors AR, AT of PMC-blocks in different CPU (at least at LI). There is also description of this sample project: Start-Simatic-Documentation-English-'D7-SYS - Example project SIMATIC TDC D7-TDC-WinCC''.
