Dear Friends,

I was trying to integrate Sinamics DCM (6RA80) in Simotion and found following result.
- I was not able to configure DCM through sinamics integrated
- Even DCM not showing in "Insert Single Drive Unit"
- Installed SSP for DCM.
- Now i can configured DCM throgh "Inser Single Drive Unit".
- The view of my projet is as attached snap.

I am having following questions
1) can we integrate DCM throgh its drive-cliq port with simotion?
==> NOP!! cliq is not the H/W of SIMOTION
       It is the a part of sinamics intergrated nothing to do with simotion.

2) Does DCM having Profibus port bydefault or any option card needed?
==> DCM has two control units. one is advanced CUD and the other is standard CUD.
==> I recommand to use the advanced CUD which has DP and Cliq inergrated.

2) Has anybody done Rotary cutter application using Simotion-DCM?Because we are going to use DCM for rotary cutter application using Simotion and had never used DCM till so far.
==> Just finished flying shear with DCM commissioning rotary shear is more easy.
==> SIEMENS rotary shear is just for the SINAMICS S120 NOT for DCM
