I am trying to convert a manual to .epub format (I intend to read it on an e-reader)

I have succesfully produced an XML file and downloaded it.
I'm left with a zipped folder that contains the manual in separate XML files.

Problems:
1. I can open the xml files in firefox, but there is no stylesheet XSLT so the layout is bad and the links don't work.
   - How can you view the documentation in XML format? (where is the stylesheet?)

2. I want to read the manual on an e-reader so I'd like to convert the XML to epub (or html)
   - How can I do this,  convert the separate xml files to a single HTML or EPUB file?

Thank you

PS: The e-reader also supports PDF and RTF, but I'd prefer epub. PDF doesn't scale well and RTF format contains tables which fall off the screen of my e-reader.

If you still need this, isn't it easier to have these downloaded as PDF and afterwards convert it to e-pub?
I didn't try but maybe you have to check out this free & open-source tool:
