Hello everyone,

today I noticed two things that I could call perhaps a little bit uncomfortable. It's no biggie, but perhaps you could find it an improvement. Also, I hope that I am not that blind that I did just miss those features, but I tried to look carefully for them.

1) There are no attachements for private messages. I don't know if people use those a lot or not, but it just happened to me that I wanted to reply to someones PM and add a picture and I couldn't.

2) Multiple attachements to posts are not available. I know that I can always put the two pictures in a .zip file and add it there, but then you can't view the pictures directly and it complicates things. Especialy when one is already there and you decide that you might actualy want to add one more, then you have to delete it and add the zip back or make another post, it would be cool if there would be possible in edit and in creating message to add another attachement(s), even if the size total would be still limited in same manner.

3) And more of a question, when I am at writing this - while ago, when I wanted to post my first message, I realized that the .png pictures can't be uploaded. Why is it so?

Darn, missed that topic answering 1 .(

I don't see why people would still care about travelling salesman problem nowadays. You can simply buy stuff on the internet.

Hello,

1. An old discussion with the same issue -  Attachments in PM's
2. I agree with you. Sometimes is much easier to understand the "things".Even some of our members instead of creating a .zip file makes 2-3 posts in order to attach all the pictures.
3. If you have there .jpg, I think is OK.

best regards,

Hello,
about point 2. We will have this in mind. I think in the near future this will not be implemented. But as it sounds like a good idea, we will do this maybe later.

about 3. It would be possible to allow more kind of files to be uploaded, but don´t want the list of possibilities to be to large. So i think these kind of files should be enough.

Best regards

It can be easier to open attachments directly but therefor not safer. Consider it like email attachments, it's also advised not to open them directly but to save, scan and open them locally instead, just in case

...well delayed answer to a long time dead thread incoming...

Well that's what you have residental protection for and I don't know what kind of a AV you use, SteBo, but I'm pretty sure mine has those bases covered.

Anyway, what's safe and what's not is defined mostly by the person performing it, not by the actual action (obviously not always) and most definately not by how easily you can do it, so I can't agree with you on that either.

The usual problem in this lies between chair and keyboard. Silly people will always find a way how to ruin their PCs, no matter how complicated.

I don't see why people would still care about travelling salesman problem nowadays. You can simply buy stuff on the internet.
