Hi

We are trying to start up a Vulcan 810 machining centre and the machine had a faulty CCU which has just been replaced and now trying to load the PLC & NCK files.

The error " 810003 asynchronous error. error analysis via step 7 required" keeps on coming up when we are loading the files

We have been clearing the PLC before loading

Will appreciate assistance

Hello....

What is the indication on CCU card i.e on the Right hand side and what is the status dispaly....on the ccu card are you getting 6 getting displayed in it.

How are you loading the backup via step7  / Wincpin

Try clearing the NC and PLC files properly....Keep S4 switch position 2 and load the backup....if have Simatic Manager software try connecting on X122 and go to PLC and check why this error is coming.

Check it out...

Ekalavya

Hi

Thanks for your feedback

Indication on the CCU is 6  ( pic attached )

We do not know how to load backup via step 7 .

We have been clearing the NC & PLC files as instructions below

Turn the machine off
Switch s3 on ccu to 1 power on and wait till 6 is shown on ccu
Power off switch back to 0 power on again
When the machine is on Clear the plc by switching s4 to 2 then 3 the sf led will go off and then on again switch to 2 then to 3 wait for ps led to come back on then back to 2 pause one second then back to 0 power off and on again
Try reloading data again when booted up

We are trying to load the PLC & NCK files using the Sinucom PCIN software and do not have Simatic Manager Software.

Kindly advice

Hello....

Could you take out the CCU card out you can find a battery. Take it out and keep it for 15-20 minutes and then plug it back.

Now try loadind the NC -PLC archive file....and check

Hi

Carried out the following but no change

Dear Mr. Chana,
I think, this message "Waiting for connection" is a secondary error.
At first must be running your NCU.
I think, you must make at first a general reset nc and plc.
S3 = 1 and S4 = 3 --> S1 --> reset.
After this S4 --> 3, 2, 3, 2, 1, 0. Now must be left and right side LED green and communication must be ok.
Now you must load nc and plc startup archiv.
Or your nc is defective.

Hello,

Give a try of clearing it again......normally 0-1-9  indicates likes this

0 - The loading of the PLC or COM module in portions delivers an incorrect value
1 – The checksum determined does not correspond to the checksum stored in the header
9 –Unsuccessful memory check for DRAM/SRAM

This flash code indicates a storage problem.

The reason is a defective power supply unit.

If you have a PCMCIA card fixed in CCU try remove and put it back if this is not recognized also you may have error......

If you have spare card try replacing it and check.....

Ekalavya
