Hello Step 7 help team,

I noticed that neither CP443-5 V6.5 nor CP 443-1 V2.1 are in the "hspcontents.xml".

I tried both - through internet and manual - and in none of the cases I found the HW that I want.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

-Simatic V5.4 SP5,

By the way, I need to state that I am getting a lof of error from thoses module, I have EXTF led ON, and the BUSF blinking - perhaps because I do not have the correspondent remote connected.

I also have in the CPU the INTF on, and the EXTF on.

Is this because of the module are bad configured(not correct firmware)? or is it because of something else?

In case I should haved posted this in another thread my apologize.

Hi Ferdik,

I think you can't found the V6.5 in HW config.

See the FAQ:
FAQ - Firmware-Update V6.6 für den CP 443-5 Extended (6GK7443-5DX04-0XE0) wrote:

Sie projektieren den CP 443-5 Extended (6GK7 443-5DX04-0XE0) V6.6

- mit CP-Firmware-Stand V6.4 ab STEP 7 Version V5.4 SP4 oder
- mit CP-Firmware-Stand V6.3 ab STEP 7 Version V5.4 SP4 oder

- mit CP-Firmware-Stand V6.1 ab STEP 7 Version V5.4
- mit CP-Firmware-Stand V6.0 ab STEP 7 Version V5.2 SP1.
...

So... update your CP to V6.5 or V6.6 (FW V6.6) and engineer V6.4

In order to understand the reasons for fault leds check Diagnostic buffer of CPU. And follow Chilly_Garfield's advice. He is right.Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_

Hi Ferdik,

I think the fault is, that you send/recv no data with AG_SEND/AG_RECV.
After the first call, the CP know the length of the data areas and the fault will go away!

If it is not the fault use the NCM tool. HW Konfig--> CP --> Diagnostic. There you can see the buffer of the CP.
May this can help you.
I think the NCM tool is one of the best tools for diagnostic, but it is only for CPs! Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_
