Are you sure you've got the right cable ? Normally Tisoft / Workshop should detect the configured baudrate automatically.

Thank you also for the post it was helpful to me also. I have a question regarding the cable we should be using to communicate with the TI520c processors. I have a Siemens 505 cable, but it is also a 9 pin female end. Can I just use a gender changer and use the 505 cable, or is there a pin out for the cable. Thanks for your quick reply. Regards

i am unable to connect to a 530C using a standard 9pin female - 9pin female programming cable + a DB9 to DB25 converter (the ones that were generally available in computer stores some years ago when RS232 was hot stuff). Didn't really try to figure out why it doesn't work.Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_

Attached is the pinout for a 9 to 25 pin cable. This is actually a standard RS232 null modem cable with loopback handshaking.

I use gender changers and DB9 to DB25 changers without any pronblems.
