HAI EVERY ONE
6ra70 dc drive 30 amps- i know how to set parameters in this dc drive but please guide me after setting parameters how to perform optimization run in step by step. ihave studied manual but iam really confused because the value are different i want to run in speed mode and in tension(torque mode) please help and guide me.

Execution of optimization runs 8.1 The drive must be in operating state o7.0 or o7.1 (enter SHUTDOWN!). 8.2 Select one of the following optimization runs in key parameter P051: P051 = 25 Optimization run for precontrol and current controller for armature and field P051 = 26 Speed controller optimization run can be preceded by selection of the degree of dynamic response of the speed control loop with P236, where lower values produce a softer controller setting. P051 = 27 Optimization run for field weakening P051 = 28 Optimization run for compensation of friction moment and moment of inertia P051 = 29 Speed controller optimization run for drives with oscillating mechanical system.
after selecting type of optimisation just give on command to the drive & it will start mesurements automatically.
for most Application use P051=25 and P051=26 only.
If your motor is supporting field wealning range then go for P051=27

Dear,
Thanks for you reply after enable P51=25 & 26 and etc the drive will run and try to tune itself so where we can find tuned values which places (stored) and how we can read it and how we save it.

All the values are vissible in DriveMonitor. You could check the procedure in http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/22220212
After finishing the optimisation and commissioning the drive use DriveMonitor options "Save Drive Parameters to file".
