Hello

I have to backup *.fwd file from OP270. If anybody can please help me in this regard.
And how to create a *.pdz file.
As when I try to upload the project with ProTool, it says *.pdz does not exist.
I am using Prosave to take Complete Backup of the OP270. If I can extract the *fwd file from that.

Thanks in advance

Regards.

Hello Hammad Riaz,

1. Prosave' Complete backup can't be edit. Only to restore on the same type of panel.
2. To take backup using Protool is possible only, if the Transfer of the current project file from the configuration computer to the operating unit must be performed using the Upload option "Enable upload".
Look at Back_transfer_description_e.pdf  There have explanation what are possible remedies there.

Best regards,

I am using Protool V6.0 SP3 and i am having problems opening the .pdb file. The first error message is as follows When Using "Upload" option from ProToo
"Your project was created ith ProTool V1.x. In Protool V2.0 and later, projects are stored in a single file. The directory having the project name is no longer required"
When i acknowledge this the following popup box appears
"The required Device type "" is not supported by the ProTool version installed. Check the entries in the C:\Siemens\protool\protool.ini file"

The other is that *.pdz file is not found.

What are the available options. From where I can get ProTool V1.x. Or any other thing possible.
And  Umencho thanks a lot for helping me.

Regards

Hello Hammad Riaz,

About "*.pdz file is not found" loook at the link in my previous post.
About old version of Protool look at Open Pro Tool 1.x configuration with current software .
I suggest you to contact with Siemenes Hotline.
