If I use a sinuscosinus encoder on an SMC20 what fine resolution will it provide? Can you parametrize it yourself within certain ranges, or does it depends on the encoder?

Hi,

It depends on encoder and mounting (if it is external encoder). Use extrapolation settings to improve accuracy level to some extend.

Hello:
the resolution  depending on  encoder itself . So You can't increase the fine resolution over  encoder resolution.

Best regards.
