Hi everyone!

I need to connect WinCC v6 to a S5-135U PLC with a CP1430-TCP. The SINEC H1 cable must be connected to a RJ45 interface, so I made an adapter cable (6XV1 850-3LE50). Which connection I must use, CP1413-1, CP1413-2 or TCP/IP at WinCC side?. Does anyone know how I have to proceed to make this communication works? What are the configurations I have to do to make it possible?

Thanks for atteniton!

Hi Bruno,

You need a cable thats on the CP143 TCP side a ITP and on the other side a RJ45, this cable have to be crossed when you don't use a switch.

I hope that the answer will help, if you have still questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

All the best, Late

Dear Late,

I alredy made the adapter cable. But what I need to discover it is which software configuration I must make in the side of the CLP and the WinCC. In addition, I have installed the last version of SIMATIC NET in the side of the WinCC.

Best regards.

Hello,

I think the best solution for you would be to contact the Win CC CoC in Erlangen. I can offer you also the following Link:

http://www.industry.siemens.com/IT4Industry/EN/solution_services/SIMATIC_Addons/kanal.htm?PIdent=1075&SIdent=1003&TIdent=1024

There you will find Channel DLLs for such a use. You will have to purchase such a Channel.

Best regards
