Post the file in the forum, maybe you have to edit manualy to try correct it comparing to others files.

I think he means to attach it as zip-file in a post. Then we can have a look about it.

Today I received a reply from Siemens Support Request regarding this matter.
They say that as long as the file can't be opened by MicroWin it's corrupred.
There is no possibility to repare it.

Both the original and backup can't be oppened at all.

Anyone has encountered this behavior?

I'm working with S7-200 since years and I never got a def. File, expect the source was destroid.

Zip your def. files adn post it. This is the only way to see if someone can help.

By the way, whats your MW Version, your PC, and the operating system?

Do you use a 64 bit Operating system?

Regards

I have the same problem.  The processor is password protected so I cannot upload.  The password from my machine builder is supposed to be 1010 but it does not work.  The backup file from my supplier is corrupt.  It will not open with MicroWIN V4.0 SP9.  The backup which gets created does not open either.

I have attached the orginal file.  If you find a way to open it please let me know.

I get this message:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
System Error: Comparing data for internal decisions.

An internal error has occured.  Although a backup copy of this project will be saved, it may contain inconsistent data.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Then I get this message as Micro/WIN exits:

========================================================================
Micro/WIN Executable has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.  Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
