DRIVE IS TRIPING IN FAULT F023

WHEN I AM WATCHING IN r949 i is showing some times 1 and some times 2
1 mean high temp
2 mens wire break

I check the wire but no wire break and loose connection found in drive.

when after all , switched on drive and checked the temp found 29 C. r833

room ac is in panel room which is maintaining 25 c. room temprature.
drive is triping 2 to 3 times in 24 hours

55kw  drive

at which temp it will give alarm of F023

and i want to know what are the posible cause for this temp sensor faulty, wire loose ,or card problem what i should do solve this problem .

with thanks
your dear friend.

According to manual you should check following things:

1.whether the fan -E1 is connected and is
rotating in the correct direction
2.that the air entry and discharge openings are
not restricted
3. temperature sensor at -X30

Check after changing sensor..whether drive is working ok or not

just a silly thing,

Also check dusts on your cards

Sometime cleaning of drive does the Job in such cases

Dear Herish,

Do you have any sensor for measuring the winding temperature of motor and it is linked with the drive input?

if it is so, try to remove that connections and check the same problem is repeating.

Hi, I have to agree, it is most likely to be the IVI card, unless the sensor wire is degraded.
Depending on your technical level, you can experiment using a 10k potentiometer wired/connected to the IVI at X31 pins 1 & 2, at full resistance (i.e. 10kohms), this will simulate 25 degrees (approximately)

As the resistance is reduced (simulating temperature increase), the drive should trip on F023.
You cannot change the trip level, this is set in the firmware for the drive type (P070).

If you have a communication network on the drive, you can trend K0247, this should indicate whether the temperature is rising slowly (real temperature), or a sudden temperature spike (hardware problem).

Hopefully this gives some pointers.
Regards,
Graeme
