Hi, I have solution  Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_ .

The ProSave will not start "Reset to factory setting" until you assign right IP address on panel and ProSave.
The IP address has to be remembered on panel even if you switch off/on power supplies.
I am not sure if you are able to do it by TIA portal V11SP2Update3, I get information that it does not work(you can test it). 
Than I used Step 7 V5.5 to assign IP address. You can check it by command Ping IP address that assign was successful when you switch off/on power supply for panel.Then you can start ProSave -> Reset to factory settings.
Do not forgot to set the same mask and similar IP address as on panel and PC.
Do not use automatic settings for IP configuration on PC.
When you use these rules you should be successful. I was. I wish you good luck. D.

Hi, I had the same problem today with a KTP600 color PN. (using wincc v11 sp2).

Any suggestion?

Do you check all information about OSupdate which you find in this thread?

Do you use a IP adress in the settings of Prosave?

Hi, thanks for your answer.

I could fix the trouble today and I share what worked for me.

After trying several times with the exact procedure for the prosave (19701610_ProSave_e.pdf) and wincc (19701610_WinCC_TIA_Portal_en.pdf) without any result, I tried with the wincc but turning off the panel just before to confirm the OS upgrade and turning it on again when asked.

Hope this help to someone.

Hello all.

I had exactly the same problem with the IP address (defined in Prosave -> General tab) blinking several times on the KTP600 basic mono PN screen but in the end, nothing happened and i got the message: "No connection could be estabilished. Please verify (...)".

After some time i realized that my PG IP address was not in the same network as the IP address i defined on Prosave. Then i corrected this issue and it worked.

Example:
PG IP Address: 192.168.1.100 (subnet mask: 255.255.255.0)
IP Address on Prosave (General Tab): 192.168.0.2
This won't work because they are not in the same network.

One Solution:
Change PG IP Address to (for instance): 192.168.0.100

Like this, the Update OS will work. Hope it helps :)

Found a solution to the problem.
1.  Please note settings Start - Control Patel - Set PG/PC Interfaces S7ONLINE! 
2. In Simatic Pro Save insert real IP and set IP in your PC. Example Pro Save IP - 192.168.0.2 PC IP - 192.168.0.100 Massk - 255.255.255.0.
3. In OS update set - Reset to factory settings.
4. Open Image.
5. In HIM power off!!!
6. click Update OS.
7. And in Him set powwer on.
8. wait. It worked.

Hello,

I am having the same problem like a suppaman87 with the KTP600 Basic color PN.
I looked at the link

More specifically, I read  WinCC_TIA_Portal.pdf and followed the instructions from the Table 1-1 (chapter 1.2.1 ''Operator Panel with Defective Operating System''), but I can't set PG/PC interface. There is no option ''Start> Settings> Control panel> Set PG/PC interface''. I am using TIA Portal V11 (see attachment) and I cannot find such option there.

What should I do?

Did you have problems at install with WinCC V11?

Which version of WinCC V11 do you use? Basic, Advanced, Professional?
Do you use STEP 7 Basic?
