FatRich Joined 10/9/2008 Last visit: 3/26/2013 Posts: 22 Rating:  (0)	(0)  Hi Graeme I found the problem  it was not related to the drive parameters but the Profibus control word from the PLC. Setting of Bit 0 of the control word was being conditioned on bit9 of the status word. This bit9 is low whenever P700 is not set to 6. I should have checked the PLC code earlier but as the same FB was being used to control the MM440 ok, I presumed it was the MM420 parameters. Note:  It worked ok with the MM440 because of how the multiple comand data sets have configured on the MM440. Thanks to everybody who responded
