Restore graphics & recipe

(0)  I used tistar PCS unix SCO based. I've got problem on the hardisk (short circuit in one component of the hardisk), so that unix SCO can not boot. The message is "Can not find operating system". Then I have the hardisk recovered so that the data inside can be copied to another new hardisk, but the OS and PCS were corrupted due to hardisk failure. We installed the OS and PCS in the same new hardisk afterwards, but the data (graphics and recipe) can not be accesed. How can I restore the data from the hardisk (I usually restore the data from the MO disk, don't have experience with restoring from Hardisk) ?  Thank you.
