I have opportunity to approach a charging crane auxiliary hoist retrofit project , the original drive is Mitsubishi system type:CR-B300-4V-S, the original second rotor resister arrangement is 0.045Ω-0.09Ω-0.225Ω-0.45Ω-0.8472Ω so the plug braking resister is 1.6572Ω.Our SIMOTRAS HD require rotor resister as attach files. My question is, we need plug braking resister is 2.484Ω but the original resister bank is 1.657Ω, the customer they don’t want to buy new resister bank they just want to modify resister bank tape, so It will short 0.82Ω during plug braking, so I need longer deceleration time right? Or I have another problem? could you kindly advice, Thanks.
