Hello,

I installed WinLC RTX on SIMATIC IPC427C. And when I try to run WinLC RTX by clicking on the shortcut I get the following error message in a windows popup:

Windows - Fatal Application Exit

RTX Exception - Access  Violation at loc A7455..
(Proc=87..., Thread=87..., PID=0.., Tid=...)
Process image has been * unloaded *

Do you have any idea why I could get this problem? And any idea how I could solved it?

Thanks in advance,

Adrien

Hello Adrien,

was there any error message during the installation?
What else do you have installed on your Microbox? And what operating system do you use?

greetings bigfoot

Which version of WinAC RTX do you have? V4.6 (2010) with latest Update3? If not, I suggest installation of the latest update.

Have Fun!

Hello Adrien,

I think there a some installations problems occured. I would recomment to make again a clean re-installation of WinAC RTX. The best way to do this is to install a clean image of the microbox and then install the WinAC RTX again.

Another possibility is to install a clean so called bundle image. There is the WinAC RTX allready preinstalled. If you ordered your microbox in a bundle with WinAC RTX you just have to use the Restore-DVD, which you can find in the delivery box. If you don't have this Restore-DVD from bundle image, you should have a Restore-DVD w/o WinAC RTX, so you got the mentioned clean image with operating system only, where you have to install the WinAC RTX manually.

regards

Hello,
to all of us thanks for your answers and sorry for this big delay.

I did some tries to reinstall from scratch all the WinACRTX and I have the same problem. So I will try to reinstall a clean image of the microbox as Moldi suggest.

Bigfoot, Actually the OS on the microbox is windows XP and I did not get any error message during the installation. I have have only PVSS installed in the microbox too.

Actually during the first installation of winACRTX I got the issue I got the issue about "Windows Multiprocessor HAL" but I fix it following the 5.4 of the README.

Where can I get the exact version of WinACRTX I try to install. I can see the year 2010 but no more.

Thanks

Adrien

Hello,
ok I have the version 4.6 (2010) with Update 1. I did a request for Update 3.
I tried again to reinstall everything after removing everything and also PVSS and the problem is the same. So I will wait to receive the Update 3 and try again.

So I reinstall the Windows XP given by Siemens to begin with a clean system. I then reinstall everything and install the latest update (3) and the result is the same. During the installation I got again the problem concerning the multiprocessor and so I followed the README to fix it as I did when I installed it the first time.
I do not know what I can do more. Any idea ?
Thanks

Maybe you should ask your salesman for an preinstalled image for the IPC. There are preinstalled images with different OS and WinAC RTX already installed. This MUST work. Otherwise it's a problem of the HW (maybe any BIOS setting changed?).

Have Fun!

I gave back the machine to the salesman. So he will do some tries on. I will let you know the results.
