how to download the program from master drive

Dear sir,
 
           Please help me how to download the loaded program to PC from Master Drive MC.iam using Drive Manitor 5.4 ver sp2. and siemens servo drive as suite to any other motor?. and also any preventive mentenance for the drive protection.

Please explain more ! Because it's very clear that you must use SAVE DRIVE PARAMETER TO FILE in navigator of DriveMonitor ? So what is your problem to do this ?

Dear sir,

   my problem was, in my machine control panel has been fited master drives, that alreday programed by the custumer, now i need to back up the loaded program of master drives in to my pc. how to communicate with my lap to drive? and custumer has been communicate with profibus drive to pc, now i have rs232 cable using it is sutable for the drive connection x103 port.if any parameter change for cammunication to RS232 to x103.

Hi, assuming you have the correct RS232 cable (as described in the Compendium section on "Commissioning with Drivemonitor"), then really, no parameter changes are necessary.

You can simply use the PMU (Drive Keypad) to determine what the settings are for the RS232 Baud rate:
P701 = (i.e. 6=9600, 7=19200, 8=38400)
P702=127
P703=2

Now set your Drivemonitor Baud rate to match using "Tools" - "ONLINE Settings" and modify your Baud rate if necessary. (NOTE: If you do change the Baud rate, then You MUST fully quit Drivemonitor and restart it or the Communications settings will remain UNCHANGED)

Then simply click on "File" - "Set up a USS ONLINE Connection . . . ." and perfrom the search.

You can then upload as described above once you are Online.

Dear sir,

     i checked above settings on my drive, after i try to connect using usb-serial BAFO make cable, but i did't connect to my drive, when is go to online serch it shows the error message comport is invalid. i try com3,com4 ports, same error facing. my lap-top is LENOVO, OS  windows XP3.
please help me sir.

I don't know whether you have already used your usb port with a usb_to_serial device to connect to the master drive, but may be you can try changing the driver of the device.

Attached is a driver that I have always used to connect to other PLCs by using my usb port.

Please inform me if it worked out.

Dear sir,

   what is the meaing of Adrees 31 in online trace manu? my drives are communicate to profi-bus the profi-bus address is set by 101. so, this is the reason to not show when i try to connect the online trace?. give me a hlep on this point, see more information on the attached image.

Hi,

It's clear that you are not getting any connection at all to the drive. The window that appears (the one that you attached) is the Drive monitor looking for a device to connect to. So, it didn't find any device to connect.

The address 31 of the lowest part of that window, has nothing to do with the profibus address, considering that you are trying to connect by means of a serial connection.
That window will also appear if you try to look for an online device even if you don't have your serial cable connected. So, are you sure your cable is ok (please check its pin-out with the attachment).

You can also check if the port is working, by using the Hyperterminal. Connect the cable to your com port and leave the other side without connection. Then, in that connector jump the pins 7 and 2 and configure the hyper terminal with the "echo" option. Then, when you press any letterof your keypad, it should return back the same letter.
