Hello Experts,
We have 840Di with PCU 50. Today when machine power is switched ON, following window displayed after booting but prior to loading Sinumerik data.
Developed for Siemens - AG
Developed for SIEMENS AG has encountered a problem & needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
When entered INPUT key again following window displayed.
mgkrnl.exe has generated error & will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log is being reated.

Does any one has encounetered such problem ever before? What is the significance of this error? Where I can see this error?sad

Any help or suggestion in this matter shall be highly appreciated.

Hello,
I am not sure but this type of problems come when somthing is wrong on MPI or Device bus. Or it might be harddisk bad sector problem.

Thank you very much for the reply. So far this problem has encountered intermittently & at two different times  As such screen shot is not available.  sadDoes anyone have encountered such problem ever before? Or does anyone know the significance of the display?
