Dear Moderators,

I want to suggest something. Actually this thing was in my mind from Campaign time.

Its regarding having auto save option as a draft just like web mails like gmail or Yahoo or even in Outlook

Why we need this?
Some times due to server problem or any else reason, when I try to post something, I am getting error like server problem, or any other error which led me to re write all things to post again, and it will never be exactly same reply as first one

One another thing is, if I know answer of any question, and I am writing answer and I have to leave in between for any other urgent work, or I want to find some information from other source, at that time this Save as Draft option will help very much

I hope I am able to make my point clear blush

I can sort of sign under this, it's a pleasant feature to have.

Meanwhile, Vithani, I suggest you to do following - every time I write something, before pressing send/post/publis/whatever button, press CTRL+A followed by CTRL+C. From my experience, it's a little effort that can save a lot of time from time to time.
I don't see why people would still care about travelling salesman problem nowadays. You can simply buy stuff on the internet.

Hello,

Somethimes same problem here, most off the time i can use the page back option, but in some situations i have to retype the message sad

So good idea to have a save function while typing the message.Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_

to MM- Yes I do but every time doing Ctrl A - Ctrl C is not possible, most of the time I forget to do same

Well I would be lying if I said that it never happened to me that I forgot and exactly that time something crashe and I would have needed it... togue But maan, when that happens when you have written something like two A4 pages of elaborate, that really sucks...Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_


It's like with a czech "almost proverb", that would translate something like "when the head is forgetful, it's legs that hurt".

Hello together,
thank you for your suggestion. We discussed about it and we think that in our system it would be hard to be realized. At the moment we are working on solutions for making the performance of the forum better. This means we are trying to find the reason for errors not on a "workaround".
At the moment i think the best way to not lose the entry, is just copy it before clicking on create.

Try to fix the existing code and make the system efficient and error free is always the best idea.
