Presently first time i am working with S5 PLC for a  CNC application in one of my client,

Anyone Please help me to clear some of by basic doubts,

1. In rack the battery used for backup is normal 1.5X3=5v Battery,My doubt is if charge of battery is      lose after many days,how can i replace the battery???,as battery replaced the RAM backup will lose!!!

2. After Clearing my PLC,if i am controller put into run mode using software,The Data from EPROM is  

loading automatically, how it is happening ????Any executable software is there for doing this???

Some one already gave nice solution to your problem here. But I would suggest what ever you do, take online program & Data backup first, before doing anything.
