Hi.

Select the mode of IEC in new progect. Then you can open the project.

Best regards.

Hello,

IEC 1131 is a standard programming methode for all PLC brands that accept the rules http://www.rockwellsoftware.com/corporate/reference/Iec1131/
Simatic is Siemens own language.

Marcjan

Hello-

I have a the same problem opening the file, however, cannot change the programming mode of a new project as you have suggested.  The programming mode for a new file is always selected as SIMATIC and the option buttons are grayed out.  Micro/Win version V4.05.08.

Hello,

Try this.

Start microwin, change mode and than make new project.

What version off microwin you have there and what OS.

Regards,

Marcjan

I inadvertantly had two instances of Micro/Win opened.  I was able to change the programming mode after closing the second instance.  Thanks for your help.
