Dear experts,
I am working with the TP 900 Panel and WinCC Comfort. The HMI isn't working anymore because of a flash error ("\Flash\Simatic\PDATA.FWC configuration file could not be loaded") so i tried to reset to factory settings by updating the Firmware with success. After downloading the program to the HMI the same error message came up again, but this time I am not able to reset it the way I did before.
The Formware is not updating, even without the reset to factory settings. The error message which comes up is a connection error, but the connection is working. Only when I try to update it doesn't.
I need help and I am grateful for any tips and suggestions.
Thank you
Best Regards,
Alex

Hello,
Which version of WinCC V11 do you use exactly? Can you post a screenshot of the connection error? What did you do on the TP 900 Panel before this error message ("\Flash\Simatic\PDATA.FWC configuration file could not be loaded") came?

I use WinCC Comfort V11 +SP2
Before the error message I downloaded (or tried) a new program from WinCC to my panel. Today I was able to download my program to the HMI, but it doesn't run because of the error stated before.
See attached my screenshots, hope it helps.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Alex

Hello,
you must do an OS update with reset to factory settings. For this you must enter the MAC adress of your panel in the transfer dialog . See your picture Communication Error. See the following link.
How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels?
It is in german in the moment, it is translated in english.

Ok it worked one time. Now the same error comes up and I am not able to reset to factory settings anymore! What can I do now? And is it possible to look up an error message from the HMI which pops up after shutting down runtime? I can't read it because it is there for under a secound.
Best Regards,
Alex

Have you downloaded the newest image to the panel? If the image update with factory settings does not work, the panel is not ok. Do you do the following FAQ about image update with factory settings step by step?
How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels?
And is it possible to look up an error message from the HMI which pops up after shutting down runtime? I can't read it because it is there for under a secound.
You can see the message of the runtime in messageview in your project. You have not a messageview for messages of WinCE. You can only see the messages of WinCE if this message appears.
