I know that the APACS's ACM+ module with different ROM version can not be run in peer to peer mode.
My customer  have a quondam ACM+  module withe ROM version 3.01. and he want to deploy the peer to peer mode with a new ACM+ module, but the available ACM+ is only ROM version 4.00. How to do it? If the old ACM can be upgrade or the new ACM can be degrade by user?

The ACM+ was never manufactured with a 3.01 ROM so the older model is probably a standard ACM w/3.01 ROM...you may want to confirm. There is no way to make the old compatible with the new...I would just get another new ACM+ and be done with it.
