1.Can I  use the RS232/RS485 adapter  to connect CPU224XP and MD720-3 modem instead of PC/PPI Multimaster cable?
2.Can I  use the RS232/RS485 adapter  to connect CPU224XP and  GPS tuner instead of PC/PPI Multimaster cable?
If can't then why?
Thanks

PS Sory from bad inglish

I don't know if it is possible. Normally S7-200 has a 5V voltage output for power supply of the rs485 bus and the PPI cable. I think a RS232/485 convert need also some power. If converter works at the same way, like PC/PPI cable, I can believe that it works. But it is not tested. I think you have to try it.
