Hello friends,

I have a machine with CPU 315 2PN/DP and disctributed IO at three different station with IM351-2PN connection.

All four machines are running saperately with different application. But as CPU is only so when any machine with IM351-2PN switch off then CPU 315 goes to stop mode SF and BF LED. then i have manually make it RUN mode to start other machine.

Hello,
Create OB86 "Rack Failure Organization Block" And download it to the CPU.
wrote:
OB86 Description
The operating system of the CPU calls OB86 in the following situations:
..................
The failure of a station when using distributed I/O (PROFIBUS DP or PROFINET IO) is detected (both event entering and exiting state).
..................
If OB86 has not been programmed, the CPU changes to the STOP mode when this type of error is detected.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
Yes that right and also logical. As there is something wrong in the system but the CPU will still in RUN mode.
I recommend to use RSE "Report System Error". With RSE, you will recieve messages from the system telling what happens.
Hope this helps.

Hello,
And also in this link S7-300 CPU 31x -- Operation and maintenance -- Diagnosing errors, the second section "Which organization blocks do you have to load into the CPU to ensure that the CPU does not go into the "STOP" status when a remote I/O fails?" should eb useful.
Hope this helps.
