Dear Expert,

I have an Engineering station having PCS 7 V7.1 Sp2 installed in it as a engineering station.I configured the general LAN of Engineering station on IP address but Simatic shell is not showing the right IP address which I configured in Hardware configuration.I already downloaded the Station configuration.

The SIMATIC Shell is showing the IP address wich your network adapter actually has.

In HW config you are configuring the IP for SIMATIC.

Downloading the configuration is not changing the IP of the adapter.

You have to configure your desired IP by your own in the windows network configuration, that the adapters IP is matching the IP in HW config.

Go to System > Network > Your Connection > right click > properties > TCP / IP protocol > change IP

umair,
Another common issue is when the PC has several network cards, be sure when you select SIMATIC Shell in Windows Explorer, to Right Click, Settings, and select the correct card to be used.
