The SIMATIC Box PC 827B is an industrial PC featuring the latest Intel Core 2 Duo technology. It convinces with its high performance and expandability in harsh industrial applications.

It is equipped with powerful processors and is excellently suited for the fast processing of large data volumes and demanding visualization tasks at ambient temperatures of up to 55 °C.

For particularly compact solutions (e.g. in the control cabinet), the Box PC 827B can also be installed in space-saving portrait assembly. For the assembly of low-maintenance, highly available and hard disk-free systems, two CompactFlash slots are provided, which are easily accessible from the outside. With a memory expansion of up to 4 GB, data-intensive applications can be smoothly mastered. The SIMATIC Box PC 827B is the "big brother" of the SIMATIC Box PC 627B – featuring the same footprint, identical interfaces and image compatibility.

The Box PC 827B is an environmentally compatible device which complies with the WEEE and RoHS directives.

With PROFINET onboard, the new SIMATIC PCs can be integrated in networks even more easily to support integrated realtime-capable communication from the corporate level right down to the field level. Realtime, IT communication as well as TCP/IP are thus possible on a single line, which saves installation and integration costs.
