SIMATIC Box PCs are particularly compact and rugged industrial PC systems for machine engineers, plant engineers, and control cabinet builders. They permit powerful yet space-optimized applications.

Three device classes are available for different requirements:

• SIMATIC Microbox PC 427B – ultra-compact and maintenance-free: the flexible embedded industrial PC
• SIMATIC Box PC 627B – maximum performance in minimum space / with Intel® Core™ 2 Duo technology
• SIMATIC Box PC 827B – maximum performance and flexibility with Intel® Core™ 2 Duo technology

The new book-mounting kits enable the SIMATIC Box PC to be installed with the smallest surface in the control cabinet, thus saving valuable installation space. When these kits are used, the interfaces are easily accessible on the front of the installed Box PC. The installation possibilities already offered (book mounting with interfaces facing down/up und wall installation with brackets) are thus supplemented with another practical option.
