hello.

suppose that a servo motor is rotating at 1000 rmp and i give zero setpoint
to servo drive. what happen in this situation?
is the motor stop suddenly or with deceleration time?
is the motor stoped with deceleration time if i disconnect servo on signal?

best regards.

Hello saeedplc,

The motor will decelerate from 1000 rpm to zero speed at a rate / time per the parameters within the servo drive ramp function generator(s).

hello.

thanks for your reply.

Are you mean that there isn't any difference between giving zero setpoint
and disconnecting "servo on signal" on stoping time of the motor?

best regards.

There is difference. When zero set point is given motor goes to zero speed from 1000 RPM with ramp down time. In case servo On is cutt off, it will not have ramp down & any control & it will coast down to zero speed.
Hope this helps.
