HI,
I want to connect all cnc machines installed in my workshop to connect centrally for the uploading of programming, setting parameters. Help is required for networking of cnc machines.
Kindly give me suggestion or refere for the relevant material/software. i'll be thankful to you.

what kind of the cnc machines? 828d, 840d sl, 840d...? 
which one using hmi software? SINUMERIK Operate, HMI Advanced, ..?

Hai,

I Think with your requirement you can go with DNC.With that you can access all the CNC to a server and download programs to Particular CNC..

CNC machines are 840d , 840di and FANUC Controller based

840D or 840DI is with HMI Advanced SW on PCU.
You have here Windows Operating System and you can configurate the Networkproperties in Service Mode.

PCU50 (Windows NT)
PCU50.2 (Windows NT or Windows XP)
PCU50.3 (Windows XP)

For NC programs transfer to/from networkdrive (windows share with CIF protocol) in user interface (HMI Advanced) you need DNC Machine Software. Details see LInk http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/24105473
