Dear All,

I have 200 Kw (PM 240) Sinamics g120 drive having control card CU240 E-2 FIRMWARE VERSION 4.4.The setpoint is comming from  analog  source  in the form of 4-20 mA.

The customer demands that in case the setpoint falls below 4 mA ,the drive should run as per last setpoint.i wanted to know wheather this can be achieved or not.I know this can be achived in case of motorised potentiomter.but can it be done i case of Analog input . Can this realised throgh FFB. My scaling values are
4mA= 25% speed
20mA=100% speed
Please Help , i want your help desparately

Regards

see p0756 to p0760

an example you´ll find in FAQ http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/5127160
it´s written for MM420 but can be used for G120 (without the 300Ohm resistor)

Mit freundlichem Gruß / Best regards

HiJen S
thanks for your prompt reply , but i have already commissioned the system ,it is running, but the customer is demanding that in case there is a wire brakage the the drive should run as per previou setpoint , im tring to implement this logic using FFB .Perhaps i can get help from your side too
Hope this explians my problem

a explanation you will find in OPI chapter 6.4 Analog inputs; Table 6- 5      Parameters for the scaling characteristic and wire break monitoring http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/61618946

or direct-link: https://www.automation.siemens.com/mdm/default.aspx?DocVersionId=42407973387&Language=en-US&TopicId=30400184587
