Hi All,

I'm new to PC based automation systems. As our company we'd like try and explore the options with IPCs.

We just got an IPC 227D with 4GB CF card, Windows Embeded Standard 7+SP1 installed. I have few newbie questions;

1) [schnippschnapp]

2) The manual says when it's needed, shut off the IPC from the start menu like any other windows. But after shutting down, the only way to turn it on is the mechanical switch on the IPC. I need to turn it off then on. is there any other method?

Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly, but what happens after Power Loss (unplug the power connector once and plug again)? I guess that in BIOS you could set the system to POWER ON after power loss - which might be a solution though.

Have Fun!
