Hello all

I read some documents about Fail safe CPU. and I undrstand in case of any fail ( is it short crcuit and wire break) in loop, CPU will go to fail state. what is the fail state?

now i want to know where we define this fail state?

is it inside programming ?

thank you for ur time

Hi all

I will elobrate little bit of my question,

For SAFETY PLC where we define the which SAFE state it has attain?

I mean what exactly happens when SAFTEY PLC finds the input circuit is faulty?

with example, for some valves OPEN state is FAIL SAFE, for some it is CLOSE. in case of MCC contacts OPEN contact.

so these state to be defined in the SAFETY Program??

Thanks

I think this is stupid question probably? Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_ think
