Hi,

It was installed a new micromaster frame FX and the braking resistor wired at DCPA and PCNA so that this, at my opinion, short circuited the DC bus because of the low resistence of the braking unit. The result is that a resistor from EBG resistor exploded. Does anyone knows what is the function of him, I know that after that the DC bus tension is 0, so that it is before ht e connection of the chopper that should be installed.

Other think, is there another think that may be damaged, because by looking it is all normal.

Thanks

Hi,
MICROMASTER 4 from frame size (FS) A to FS F do have an integrated chopper. So that you can install an braking resistor directly. For FSx (Fx/Gx) you need a external braking unit; this unit do not have a integrated chopper.
