Dear Experts,

In 110 KW MM440 drive (installed in Crane Long travel motion) 1,3,5 IGBT failed. Now changed the supply of motors to conventional contactor logic with Motor protection relay. No tripping observed and running smoothly.

Can anybody help-- why IGBT failed ?

Give me the Motor Name Plate Details ?

   If it is new commissioing........

      1. Check whether the Drive is suitable for the motor or not ?

      2. Check motor current ratings ?

  Reason :

Due to more load only IGBT gone

It means Over load current value is beyond the I2t value of the IGBT .....................

    Thanks.................
