Does any one have a simple aplication Program For S7 1214 and Sinamics S120 integrated in the same project....? It would be a big help for me...

Hello,

what do you mean with "integrated inthe same project"?
At the moment TIA Portal doesn't support SINAMCIS drives, only via GSD.

in my application i have to control 2 axis x& z

For x axis one servo motor and for z axis 2 servo motors (lenth is 5 meters).

  • I want to synchonise 2 motors Master and slave for Z axis (they should run at same speed)

      Operation is PICK and PLACE
xaxis will move -350mm from home position
then z axis will move -80 mm for pickup
then z axis will move +80 mm
then x axis will move +700 mm
then z axis will move -80mm for place
then z axis will move +80 mm
& lastly x axis will move to home position 0mm 

I am not getting any programming manual on net..Since i am using Siemens PLC & Drive first time it is difficult.

Also if you can help me in Homing & job operation i will be greatful.


We are using CPU 1214C & CU 320-2 DP double motor module for z axis & single motor module for x axis.

Please guide me.

I am also working on the very same application with a S7 1212 and Sinamics CU320 for a picker and placer.
I am currently removing the PLC and only using the S120 with Simotion D and its much easier.
