Cant go online to PLC

Hello Guys,
I updated my Field PG M. The following updates were;

From Windows XP SP2 to Windows XP SP3
From Simatic Manager V5.4 + SP2 to Simatic Manager V5.4 + SP5

CP5611 is installed in my PG, the problem now is I cant go online with the PLC CPU, what might be problem, please help.

what error are you getting any more information would be helpful

Hi,

The message is
LAD/STL/FBD (33:17088)
Online: Cannot load the selected communication driver; file not found,

and at the Simatic NET diagnostics window is
Error 0x0320: DLL/VxD not found as file or device not active.

in the windows device manager i can see CP5611 working fine.

Under options set pg interface does your card show up?if not try and see if you can add it in

Yes it is showing upRnf:lblSmileyTooltip_ . I can even changed from MPI to PROFIBUS.

you could try and uninstall the driver and reinstall the driver or maybe you will have to reinstall step7

you mean the the original version of Simatic Manager that was installed in my PG? Then I will update again to V5.4 + SP5? I need to run my PG to V5.4+SP5 because of S7Technology V4.2.
In addition I also updated WinCCflex 2005 to WinCC flex2008 SP2.
I will try to reinstall the driver.

Hello ericson,

please check all the test as mentioned by Playersight.

if still doesnot work then i Suggest you to check the healthyness of CP5611 Card itself.

1. after select  interface in set pg/pc online make check interface
2. check 5611 in windows device manager
