General discussion about font DPI

(0)  Hello my dear colleagues, I don't know if this really correct forum, but hope it is. So now I've started to use new laptop with resolution 1920x1080 and off course Windows 7 by default set fonts to 120 DPI. As you all know in that case we have problems with HMI software as all Windows CE panels use 96 DPI. So creating and managing projects is lets say not possible. Well, possible, but you will never see correct image. So I would like you to share your experience what to do in this case. My monitor size is 15,6" and having resolution 1920x1080 and font 96 DPI makes everything too small. What can you recommend ?
